I've got plenty of room, that is for sure and also have a LOT of tools. Just need the funds to buy as much mad gear you've collected. It's going to be mental, hopefully all the research pays off and most of it goes on without issue. Waiting for shots of progress to be as awesome as all of the...

Haha, mine, going slowly. As is always the way when you have all the tools, but none of the motivation. Actually every time I go to do something I found another thing done by the previous owner I don't like and need to fix up. Clutch has survived a good number of launches but easier to drive...

Cool, I ended up with a genuine VAG one from ECS even though I only paid for the cheap $65 one :P And I found for a while it would only come on every other drive, then it would only come on occasionally, then it would only come on once in a blue moon. So I assume it is fecked big time.

How much coolant did you loose changing the pump? I don't have any spare G12 or feel like buying any from Audi any time soon.

    My S3 Thread

Haha, well the clutch change is still in progress, but I won't bore you with details. The rest of the gear/servicing was easy. The cable worked great, but it is cursed I think. It tells me I need new coil packs, both oxygen sensors are dead/dying and my central locking pump is on its way out...

    My S3 Thread

I've only just pulled my pump apart as it would sporadically work, i'm surprised it even occasionally worked as it was a mess inside. I'm about to order a replacement from ECS if your keen I can get 2? As for Rego, CTP and full comp you are dreaming if you think turning 30 will make it cheaper...

Looks like I've been supplied the wrong flywheel, help!

Hi, I ordered a Sachs DMF/Clutch kit back in March from the UK (I'm in AUS) and all seemed well until I went to fit it on the weekend. When making sure it was all going to be right I noticed the pressure plate bolts I had (M8x14) were too big to screw into the flywheel (M7x14) and this made me...

Prawn and BigAls A3 Track Car

Anyone ever tried 'bed liner' ? You can get versions that have a pretty high grip level and it is spray on and fairly indestructible. Watch Mythbusters to see for yourself :P

    Supercharging a 1.8t (eaton m62?)

From what I remember the Delta S4 setup has a bypass (as such) at a certain rpm/pressure or something because the blower will be a restriction at some point.

    Supercharging a 1.8t (eaton m62?)

I had illusions of 'twincharging' my AE86 Trueno for quite some time and the Delta S4 setup was my inspiration But the cost was just insane. The AE86 had a LOT of room in the engine bay and it would have still been a nightmare, I could not even fathom how hard it would be in a VAG MKIV engine bay
