I have a similar issue although the leak is closer to the wheel arch. Anyone found a step by step guide yet?
How do I test the drains to see if they are blocked?
Hi,
I have a 2013 Sportback with all the assistance extras (except TPMS) and my long coding is:
12F18AA220250A70017A060101C9294851045080608094F2F879500805
I noticed the two numbers I need to change (highlighted in bold) are 0 for all the other posts on here but mine are 5 & 0. Should I be...
Just spent 2 hours trying to do this. All the other mods work fine but this one just gives me errors.
Is there a mod to close the windows when you lock the car rather than having to hold the lock button down for so long? there used to be on the MK5 Golf...
Like many others, I have come across the following website:
stemei.de .VCDS codes .Codierungsservice .Webdesign - Stefan Meier - Convenience key automatic lock, lock - VCDS coding, web design
It appears that you can get the car to autolock if nobody is inside and you take the key with you...
Lane Assist steers for you and keeps you in the middle of the lane provided you give steering "feedback" every 12 seconds. the problem is if your on a very straight road you literally have to turn to keep the lane assist working.
I want to change this perameter to something like 60 seconds...
Its my Job. I mod Audi's for a living. But as the hardware was very expensive I have yet to actually recuperate my initial outlay.
Yes the MMI has to be fully reflashed, not something that can be done with VCDS, otherwise it would be a lot cheaper and easier!
It is not legal in the country...
Yeah I shall do that. It all seems rather odd to me, the car is capable of 140mph and yet we don't blame the manufacturer if we speed. It's up to the driver to drive as he see's fit.
I am having a lot of enquiries to unlock the old RNS-E units, which I assumed there would be lots of people...
Thanks for that. I now advertise this on Ebay, I can do it on the new Golf too, and have done 9 cars (5 Audi's and 4 Golfs) in my first week! There definitely is demand. Plus I get to chat to people with similar interests as me while i'm doing it :)
Thanks for that reply, nice to see it from both sides. When I tried to get this issue resolved myself, the cheapest price offered was £110 by a reputable specialist Audi retro-fitter. I drove my car over 100 miles to them to have this done only to find it wasn't possible. Based on that I thought...
Good news!
I have finally cracked it, I am the first in the UK to manage this (just bragging!) unfortunately it inst as easy as just hooking up VCDS.
Email me at alporterjunk@gmail.com if you are still keen to get it done.
