After googling found there is a 'workshop campaign' for early wiper motors (like a recall i believe) so going to the dealers in morning. Worth a go before I strip it down!
Stopped altogether now. Does anyone now if changing the linkage is an easy DIY job and wheres the best place to get one from?? If your taking it apart can't the original be greased and put back together?? Will attempting to turn the wipers on lead to a blown motor??
Thanks. tried that and they worked but still seem to be struggling and intermittantly working. Take a while to work and sometimes won't work at all. Will warmer weather see them back to nomal or are they permentantly damaged?
Hi, Probably own fault as during cold weather realised wipers were struggling to cope but left them on, but now they seem to be giving up the will to live. They start to work after a while sometimes, but other times i can hear the motor trying but the wipers not moving. Is it to late for WD40...
