I have a 97 A4 and it has the normal sized driver side mirror, and the half sized passenger side mirror. Which year did they start putting the full size mirrors on the A4's and where would be an easy place to find a full size replacement for my midget mirror???

So when I bought my car I was under the impression that the timing belt had been changed. Well 4 months after I have the car, at 90,000 miles my timing belt snaps. I guess it bent all the valves and the entire top end of my engine had to be rebuilt and ended up costing 4 grand. So my advice...

The BOV is mounted where the diverter valve was, on my car it's right behind the radiator between that and the engine. Was kind of tough to get to but only took about 30 minutes to install.

Nick04, I too get that knock after you begin driving just after start up and hit 5mph or so, it sounds like it's coming from the brake area on mine......

I have the GFB Hybrid which looks almost identical to that BOV and does the same, doesn't screw up your ECU at all so for those of you who are worried about that, you don't have to worry, it won't mess anything up. I am curious as to what it sounds like though....
