i think its best to park the car then remove the dipstick,let it sit for a while"20 mins or so" then check the level.i find its the only way to get a proper reading
had a 143 a few months back while my mapped 170 b7 was in for a service and i do think my car was quite a bit sharper but as allready said the 143 map's really well.if i was doing it again i think i'd go for the 143 with a bit more spec rather than the 170
just fitted some verd's to my a4 and have to say so far so good.if you call or email elite they will beat camskills by a few quid,saved me allmost 15 quid for two tyres and delivery took 3 days too northern ireland....ask for dave,very helpfull chap
have the st3 on my 170 A4 for nearly a year now and its been perfect,can't fault it at all.only takes a short time to change maps plus the unit can be used to read fault codes etc as well.
when you consider i paid 550 quid to get my last car remapped"sti scoob"the st3 is a revelation for what...
the car was driven around 200 miles over 4 days,i think before the miles and days showed up.was as you say --- before this.
its a 2007 b7 a4 170 tdi.
its just i thought it strange coming up at 12500k after the 1st audi service as the car was bought by myself with a few thousand miles on it...
just had my 170 a4 tdi serviced at 18500 miles,think there was another 100 or so left on the indicator.question is after the reset its showing up at 12600 miles till its next service......surely this isn't right for the long life service?
