The steel retaining cover with the strange nuts, does not exist in 2001 S3-TT Models. I think these appeared on the 2002+ models...There should be some way around this problem. I will ask around & inform you if i find something important. Nikos.

I suggest you put at least 8mm spacer per side and be sure to get hub-centric spacers if you are using the OEM wheels. I have 5mm in my car, in order to clear the Porsche Brakes but these do not have the hub-centric ring and have created problems centering the wheel. I have now made by order...

Hi Simon, you will either have to visit your local Dealer and use Vag 1551 or a friend that has the Vag-Com in order to reprogram your ECU. It is fairly easy process and does not take long. Nikos.
