Never new this, so if high octane fuel degrades to cheap fuel in a short period does cheap fuel degrade as well to something like 90 octane? And does the fuel degrade from manfacture, so by the time it gets to the petrol station then from their tanks into your car the fuel isn't quite as good...

No it doesn't, fuel is quite heavy, it will accelerate better on a nearly empty tank:icon_thumright: On a standard day 55 litres of fuel is 44 kg in weight.

Since I posted this I had a play and it seems there is a slight delay so you can get to the side lights without firing up the xenon's, but personally I would have designed the light switch differently like putting the auto to the left like I orginally said and have the slightly delay in the off...

I was also suprised that pushing the volume button doesn't mute, there should really be options in the DIS to set up the buttons how you want it would be so easy to do. I wonder if using VAGCOM you can change the function of the buttons?

That's exactly why I don't use the auto lights, and why I try not to flash people, hate to think how much Audi charge for replacing a xenon unit. I only got the option because I wanted the auto wipers and the dimming review mirror. The only thing with it is the auto position is in the wrong...

Don't know but there was some weird colours in it! Your car being silver is probably less likely to show it up, I think after this car I'm going to go for something light coloured sound easier to keep in good condition.

Thanks for the info. It's the first bird poo I got on my car, when I'm not out it spends most of it's time in the garage to protect it from such things, so I'll have to see if the next bomb will damage it just as bad.

Sounds good, though you shouldn't have to take it to a proffesional every time a bird takes a hit at your car, that would become a but pricey, unless Audi were willing to pay for it:laugh:
