    New Tyres Required

They're very good, much better than the Pirelli P Zeros that were originally fitted. They're much better on turn-in, better grip both in wet and dry conditions and generally more stable. There braking performance is excellent, much better that the Pirellis. On the down side, the ride is a...

    Brake pad wear Indicator warning

After a recent track day at Goodwood, I've had the Brake Pad wear warning light come on. I've checked the pads front and rear and there's plenty of meat left on them. I suspect that the Pad Wear sensor cable may have melted as the brakes got pretty hot! I haven't had a chance to get...

    New Tyres Required

After much faffing about, and a number of non-car related delays, I've just had new Continental ContiSport 7s fitted all around. I'll post a comment on them once I've had them on a couple of months. (FYI - they cost £147 per corner fitted & balanced in Surrey).

    Rs3 PFL/FL vs PFL s3 handling

I swapped from a 2016 S3 to a 2018 RS3 (both saloons) and I'd agree with everything that Djpfrozenp said - the big difference on the road is the sheer theatre of the RS3. The RS3 is definitely taughter, but in town driving when in comfort mode the gearbox is quite a bit 'jerkier' than the S3...

    New Tyres Required

Nothing out of the ordinary, I normally just poodle around on the public road with just a quick burst every now and then over a mile or two, as and when conditions allow. On track, my only experience is a few trips to Fay de Bretagne, which is a twisty circuit near Nantes built as a test track...

    New Tyres Required

I'm shortly going to need 4 new tyres for my 2018 RS3 saloon. It currently sits on OEM Pirelli P Zeros, 235/35 R19 all around. I don't do many miles, less than 5k per year, and generally just poodle around on fairly local journeys with just the occasional burst of 'quicker' progress...

    Upgraded to RS3

I've recently upgraded from an S3 to a 2018 RS3 in Mythos Black with many of the options ticked by the original owner. I'm only just getting to grips with it as I've been away for a couple of weeks since I bought it, so only driven a very few miles. Very impressed so far, I didn't expect the...
