    I only have a OBD 2 diagnostic unit. I've been thinking about the injectors but if they had some sort of blockage I don't think the problem would be intermittent. When the lights not on she drives great. At the moment the lights on more than its off.

    Yes the old valve was Bosch. Your comment is the conclusion of the garage, they suggest sending the ECU to be checked by a specialist company. I wanted to check with you guys if anyone had seen this problem before I went down that route. Thanks for your input.

    The fuel regulator valve was Bosch. The fuel filter was aftermarket. other items were checked/tested but not replaced.
