There are 4 clips on the A1/S1 that have to be released and as you can see above, Audi's own workshop manual states replacement is required. How do you do it to leave only 2 small holes? - asking for when these go NLS

I don't have it but I believe you have to have the high beam stalk set to on and then it activates over a certain speed - it's in the manual if you got one with the car?

If the solenoid has failed (very common it seems), the workshop manual suggests it's destructive and you have to replace the whole plastic mount which is very annoying.

The sensor for the dimming mirror is the square on the outer right (in the photo) of the mirror itself. This does look like the HBA camera in the mount.

You can't get the badges from the dealer, they're either the wrong size badge for an S1/A1 in the case of the rear rings or you're having to hack about cutting clips off to get the front to fit. That's what you're paying for with Blacklabelz - proper OEM badges, correct for the car coloured how...

Except you can't. The dealer does not do black S1 badges either front or rear and if you're cutting badges to get them to fit then the dealer doesn't do black badges for an 8X A1/S1 do they? The rear rings badge is a different size too IIRC ;)

Roughly double the cost, not bad for the labour involved, yeah it's not cheap but you know you have the right badge not the terrible ***** that's on ebay - take a look, most are made up of the 1 from an A1 badge and the red flash from an s-line badge - font and spacing is wrong for an S1 ;)...

Mine are stuck on but I went parts hunting on ebay...this should give you an idea, using the Audi badge for reference

Plenty do, it does amuse me that people significantly younger than me do it for comfort :D 35 profile are far from hard riding on the S1 even with H&R springs. I wouldn't go up a profile size as I think it's unnecessary and more importantly I don't think it looks good at all, but just my opinion...

PS4 and PS5 aren't available in 35 profile which is a massive shame, great tyres and would happily have some more. My S1 came with Continental Sport Contact 5 from the factory, they wear pretty quickly but in the dry they're hard to beat. Whatever you do don't fit bridgestones.

Sadly not. The SD cards have the license embedded in them, it is possible to do it cheaply yourself but requires a naughty SD card with the correct id added or hacking the head unit to either add the new license or set it not to require a license at all.
