Yeah, it's usually in the bumper right? I was trying to avoid the cost of doing a full fit for oem style homelink as my car didn't come with it from the factory. It's looking like that may be the only option though.

Fit in homelink. From what I've gathered, the R32 Visor has homelink built into it vs. Audi's system requiring a module in the bumper.

Looking to do a homelink visor swap and was curious if a MKV Sunvisor would fit correctly on an A3 8P. I know the MKV and 8P are similar, however not sure if they're similar in this capacity. Anyone have any ideas?

So I'd be looking at locating the correct mirrors, G Door Modules, and a switch/panel change where the mirror switch is? Would coding be the same as 09 & 11? Also, do you know if I could use the P module with the prefacelift mirrors?

Hi All, So far I've been able to narrow down the mirror part numbers from this thread. I was able to find that the mirror body part numbers are: 8P2 858 531 L - 2003-2008 folding mirror bases Left & 8P2 858 532 L - 2003-2008 folding mirror bases Right. Now I just need to track down door modules...

I believe this may be related to where the part is originally sourced from, however I have the same question. I recently changed to an S3 Cluster (Part was sourced from Lithuania) and every once and awhile it'll quickly switch from Fahrenheit to Celsius then back to Fahrenheit.
