    RS3 idling issue

Thanks, not running rich or lean or misfiring. It was running a stage tune so reverted to stock VAG tune but still getting intermittent hunting on idle, occasionally stalls when cold and bogs down on light throttle but not always. Tuner was able to record a log file when it displayed symptoms...

    RS3 idling issue

Did you get any resolution on this, I have what appears to be an identical issue. Like you, I’ve replaced various components like plugs, coils, vacuum hose and each time the issue stops for anything from an hour to a week and then returns.

    Tyre size, circumference and ABS

I prefer a bit of meat on the tyre wall rather than the trend for “rubber band” low profile tyres. Road quality in Adelaide is shocking and skinny profiles make handling skittish. Not worried about wet performance, I live in the hottest, driest state in Australia.

Wheel size, how big have you gone?

I'm still on stock suspension but I think switching to KW probably gives you a little more clearance. Anyway, very limited information on the topic. There is another thread in the forum where somebody mentioned fitting a 9J with either et+20 for major poke or +30 to keep the rim under the arch...

    4H-Tech Short Shifter

Sounds good, mine is going on this weekend along with race clutch/flywheel. Keen to see how it feels.

    Tyre size, circumference and ABS

Anybody had experience with non-stock wheel/tyre combos? I've read potential issues with ABS if the alternative combo is outside of ABS tolerances (ie circumference) leading to ABS errors. Not worried about speedo calibration, just want to avoid a Xmas tree light display on my dashboard :o...

    S1 suspension drop

Just put Eibach 20-25mm on mine. Very impressed because firm yet compliant. Not a slammed stance by any stretch but definitely an improvement

    Hello from new owner

1st impression excellent. Stance not as low as I’d like but ride is still compliant. You notice its firmer but you’re not hitting bump stops every pothole or speed bump. Milltek non-resonated catback is almost as quiet as stock, if I didn’t have the downpipe on order I would be very underwhelmed...

    Hello from new owner

I went Eibach over HR for the same reason. Picking it up this morning, will let you know. Had the Milltek catback done at the same time. Until then I had stage 1 APR, Eventuri intake, 88mm silicon, Racingline 88mm elbow & turbo muffler delete. Waiting on Milltek downpipes (built to order from...

    Carbon rear spoiler

Just had a response from Alibaba and ‘computa says no’! Could possibly get the top section only and bond it to stock spoiler but not convinced. Found OEM spoiler on Ebay but they won’t ship to Australia.

    Carbon rear spoiler

Anybody know if 3 door and 5 door model rear spoilers are interchangeable? Saw this listed for a 2 door model and wondering if it will fit my 5 door sportback https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/R18-Sportback-Carbon-Rear-Roof-Spoiler_60520742857.html?spm=a2700.7724838.2017115.2.6e306680ddU5ga
