Haldex stopped working after oil change

I did ask them if they were going to clean the filter, and they said they would. What would they have unplugged to do that?

Haldex stopped working after oil change

Oh I will be... just wanted to know if its possible that a simple oversight might have caused this? It feels like the Haldex is completely disabled. Wondering if it has to be switched off whilst changing the oil, or needs some calibration within VCDS afterwards?

Haldex stopped working after oil change

Hi all that might know.. I have a 2019 S3 which just today had a full service and haldex oil change, at an independent VW/Audi specialist (Mark Tempest Autocentre in Hertfordshire) Upon driving the car home, it was blatantly apparent that the Haldex is not working. (spinning the fronts up at...

    JB4 info and discussion thread

I read your drivel Lehn... :playful: I updated a couple of days ago. To be totally honest, I can't feel any difference. I have never had any issues with idle, part throttle or full throttle, on any firmware since installing the JB4.. I get the ECU pulling the throttle at high revs in...

vbox results audi s3 with opf

Mine does 4.58 stock / 4.34 JB4 map 1 I haven't tried 0-100 on the higher power maps as I'm not convinced the ECU and JB4 are working together very well at higher torque loads.

    2019 RS3 gets smashed by AMG A45s & M2

Not sure the OPF is really to blame... My 2019 S3 has OPF and is getting consistent 4.3 second 0-60 Dragy runs. That's on par with pre OPF S3 times. The 2019 S3 is supposedly down on BHP to it's pre OPF model.. (although it's also claimed to have more torque)

    Stage1 2019 S3

Tuning Damaged 1 :whistle2: Tuning Detected maybe? Or probably some weird long German words, most likely..

    Shell V power petrol

This is true for me too... I used to only fill up with V-Power until someone on here said about better performance and MPG with Tesco 99. Switched to the Tesco stuff and have not touched Shell since.. and its nearly 10p cheaper per litre round my way too..

This is gear 3 on map 1... There is a small throttle closure right near the peak RPM, but nothing too significant.

    JB4 info and discussion thread

I have a FL DSG (MY19).. Here is a pull in gear 3 on map 2: I don't seem to get any throttle closure at peak RPM, however I do get spikes pulling up the revs, but I think that is merely the ECU torque targeting.

Intake Upgrade for a Stage 2 ECU

From everything I've watched and read regarding tuning stages, I would expect you would need to upgrade the intake for stage 2 tuning, as you are also freeing up the flow at the exhaust side and would need the increased intake flow for this to work. Stage 2 benefits from intake, intercooler...

    problems after chiptuning?

All fair points and well made... Storming in like a rain cloud :crying: I knew I should have just forked out the extra and got an RS3 instead...

    problems after chiptuning?

Either way, I'm not looking forward to removing the JB4 for my servicing. The car actually feels weak now, when I switch the JB4 off :whistle2: Never thought I'd say that about a 300PS car...:wtf:

    problems after chiptuning?

That post is referring to the guy actually leaving the JB4 installed whilst going in to the garage, no?

    problems after chiptuning?

Can you link to this info please? Whilst no-one can be 100% sure, most stuff I've read and heard is that removing the JB4 and allowing a week or so of driving without it, will allow the ECU to overwrite any historical info that may have indicated the JB4's presence?! I have also been advised...

    S3 8V common faults?

On the Sportback, this button merely unlocks the boot, disabling the alarm, allowing you access without unlocking all doors, and auto locking and re-arming the alarm when you shut the boot, thus not making you have to re-press the lock button. I'm guessing it can be programmed as the button...

    JB4 info and discussion thread

My JB4 shipped with VW_JB4_OBDII_7_TEST4 installed.. I drove around for a week or so, no issues at all. I then updated to JB4_VW_8_4 and have been driving round with that ever since. It feels no different. There is talk of a new firmware, with updated maps dropping real soon. I'll...

    2017 A3 2.0 TFSI Quattro - remap options?

https://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/jb4-info-and-discussion-thread.309046/ Plenty of info here. I have recently installed the JB4 on a MY19 S3 and the difference in power is quite significant. Well worth the money and the slight hassle of installing. (the plug on the charge pipe is awkward...

    JB4 info and discussion thread

The JB4 app is reading the codes. I don't have a scan tool, so I'll probably take it to my local VW specialist to get it read. Just wondering if anyone else with a JB4 gets the same code and knows what it relates to?
