I just rang up Audi Customer Services and I was told I don't have the module in my car that will enable the Remote Lock, etc, therefore I don't really need the 10 digit number. Does that sound right to you?

There is a SIM slot in the glove box, I guess I can just insert a data SIM and off I go. Can't I hotspot my current phone to get the car to connect to the internet? And yes, I bought it from a dealer that isn't Audi.

Thanks for this. How would the Audi Connect reset when it doesn't have internet? (It doesn't have a SIM card in it) And no, I don't have the plastic tag on the spare key or the main key with the 10 digits. Is there any other way to find that? Cheers

Why would Audi put that tiny square box on all models. It should be on only the ones that have keyless entry no?
