    Help! Im locked out!

Had to admit defeat and call the AA. Probably best not mention on a public forum how they managed it but It would only unlock from the inside drivers door and now the fob is fine. But the key still wont work in the lock. It was working fine via key last winter as it somehow unsync'd the...

    Help! Im locked out!

I'm in a spot of bother chaps...... Im locked out and neither the fob nor key will unlock the car. The story so far... Starter motor failed on Monday, AA tow started the car and I drove home and parked on the drive. Yesterday I jacked the car up, disconnected the battery and removed the...

Very Poor Radio Reception When Using Phone Charger...

I have the very same issue Dan. Never really got to the bottom of it, and it happens with all chargers that I've tried. If I'm charging the phone I just use spotify streamed through the Bluetooth head unit now, or if there's some I really want to hear on the radio, I use tune-in radio streamed.

    Bubbling on arch! With pics

The general consensus is that Audi UK will just argue that its been caused by any other means than their manufacturing/painting process. If you want to appeal the decision, they ask you to visit an assessor, who just so happens to be appointed by Audi, at a cost of £165, IIRC. I believe most...

04 A4 Avant 1.9 TDI Sport. New owner pics. Boot opening and engine temperatur quesion

Shouldn't cause it too much bother but your fuel economy will tail off a bit. When mine went on my 1.9TDI AVF, I dropped from a steady 50mpg on the motorway to low 30s. Both the thermostat and sensor are a simple enough fix even with basic spannering abilities. I bought a genuine VAG thermostat...

Controlling the Driver Information System. No controls on my wiper arm?!?!

It's not fitted to all models mate. Requires a new stalk, sensor for screen wash reservoir (or the bypass the wiring) and coding via VCDS. May as well fit cruise control at the same time if you don't have that fitted either.
