    Facelift Brake fluid change

I was told by the service guy at my first 2 year service that it would be due by the 3rd year. I'm on a 3 year lease so i'll have to MOT the car before it goes back, is the brake fluid something that must be done? I thought if it doesn't show up on the dash then it doesn't need doing. I am...

    When Showrooms Reopen...

Its a good looking motor, congrats :) They have really improved the interiors of modern BMW's. My lease is up in Feb 2022 and i ordered a new Skoda Octavia vRS estate this month to replace it. I've not been a huge fan of my A4 for some reason, and i needed an estate for the dog crate so seems...

Dogs in a A4 saloon advice

We got a puppy back in Feb and she doesn't seem to enjoy the car too much. When we take her for a walk she often pee's on the back seat and yesterday she puked just as we got home all over the back seat. I had to get someone out to clean it and disinfect it :( Does anyone else let their dogs...

Oil top up advice - how much?

With hindsight i should have just waited for the oil light to come on. The 500ml i put in has taken it right to the top now so i'm lucky i didn't overfill it.

    Courtesy Car/Price Matching?

I've got my car booked in for its first service and a re-call next month and was offered a free courtesy car. They did say its normally £20 but they waved the cost this time for whatever reason. I thought the service was going to be £480 but it was £386 in the end, so i didn't bother trying to...

    35/ 40 TFSI MPG

I've had my petrol 35 BE for 18 months now and long term average is about 37mpg. That's a mix of town driving in heavy traffic which can get around 30mpg, and some 200 mile motorway runs which I've seen 50mpg providing I stick to the speed limit. That's with the family and a boot full. I found...

Oil top up advice - how much?

I ended up putting in 500ml which took it to around 80% on the app. The app normally mirrors what the car says but I'll check in the morning. Just to make sure I'm not being stupid, there isn't a dipstick on the 2.0 150bhp 35 engine? Otherwise I'd have checked the actual oil level but I can...

    Pre-sense city gave me whiplash

I've had it go off a couple of times which i found annoying, one time it slammed the breaks on hard and caused quite a shock. But it saved me from rear ending a car that stopped when I wasn't expecting it too, when i was looking up a side street. I'd be worried about turning it off completely...

Oil top up advice - how much?

I've had my A4 Black Edition since Feb 2019 and its due its first service in November. My oil light hasn't come on yet but its on the very last rung when I check the oil level via my app. The car came with some Shell oil which I was going to put in to keep me going until the inspection...

    Buying advice needed please

I'm assuming that it'll feel quite big coming from a Seat Ibiza. It surprises me how large the A4 is every time I go on a multi story car park. Just be mindful of that when you say you don't want the Seat SUV as the A4 might still be as wide?

Post Pics Of Your A4/S4 B9 In Here

Quick photo of mine after a wash last weekend. Tried out the auto finesse aqua wax, seems to work quite well although I was an idiot and washed the car in the sun. Was a nightmare as it kept drying too fast.

Audi A4 - new car delivery checklist

What model are you getting? Not sure if the new one's come with the door stickers but if it does you could ask them to apply them. If the car is being delivered make sure you have the Audi connect code which is on a plastic strip. They can be attached to the key fob or mine was tucked into...

    New Facelift S4 (with Photos)

I was expecting two touch screens like the other new audi's. I'd much prefer a touch screen like this and the original heating controls, best of both worlds. Using the dial to operate Android Auto is a right pain. Shameful that both exhausts are fake and blocked off though. If the car still...

    2.0 TFSI 150 engine - more detail?

Boring update on mine, i had 55mpg on a 100 mile motorway run yesterday. Didn't go much over 70 but wasn't going super slow either. Are the facelifts the same engine as the 2019 cars? They mention the mild hybrid a fair bit but its not something you really notice.

    Intermittent android auto connection

There is a known issue with Huawei phones. The nack is the have the phone unlocked and screen on when you connect the phone. Seems to work for me so worth a try.

    2.0 TFSI 150 engine - more detail?

I've got one, i've had it since Feb. What did you want to know in particular? I've done 6500 miles in it and its starting to loosen up nicely. You can get almost 50mpg on a long run or less than 30 if you are in heavy traffic. It goes OK if you rev it and its happy enough pootling round at...

TFSI v TDI Best value purchase

I've had a 35 TFSI since Feb. I've done approx 6000 miles in it and my long term average is currently 38mpg but its gone up recently as i've had a few long motorway runs were i'm getting almost 50mpg. Before then it was sat around 36mpg for the long term. What i've noticed is that the MPG...

    MMI 10 digit code

I'm not sure if I kept mine when I registered my phone, makes sense though as i'll need it when i get a new phone. As for is it worth it or not, it is a gimic but it allows you to see the location of your car on your phone and lock and unlock. I used it last week at the motorway services, i...

    Decisions, decisions...

I think this is the right decision at this moment in time. If you replaced your current car with another A4, or even an A3 as you don't need a big car, it wouldn't feel like a big enough change. The MMI would still be the same, no touch screen etc. The Mercedes interiors are really nice and...

    Goodwood FOS - Any tips?

I'm going to Goodwood for a couple of days next week and will be in the Start Line hospitality area. Its my first time at the FOS so was wondering if any members have been before and can recommend things to see, best places to spectate etc. Conscious about dress code which is smart casual in...
