I think it looks pants, so not really bothered. Would've have minded what appears to be an updated Virtual Cockpit though. I think I saw a image with an updated non-S dial design.
Mine also messed up. I was getting worried when my first payment wasn't taken on the due date. All sorted now, but meant pretty much two back to back payments to get back on schedule.
Also in regards to an earlier post on compensation- nada. The sales person who dealt with the order barely even...
Fingers crossed you get it soon! FWIW my tracker is still "In Transit - Your Audi has arrived in the UK", but the car itself has been on my driveway for the last 2 weeks :D
Initial rental paid upon ordering, but from what I can gather I'm one of the few that had to do this. First payment is due one month from registration from what I understand.
Also, experiencing leasing for the first time I'm surprised at how casual Audi are about it. You get more upfront...
It's not a rattling so much as a lack of depth or clarity.
Just jumping into this- the engine is smooth, quiet and responsive enough. You do feel the lack of power when you want to put your foot down, it picks up but slowly.
For those without the B+O system, do your speakers sound a bit well, crap?
It’s a fairly loud system, very base heavy but zero depth to whatever I’m playing. Not sure if mine is just faulty or if Audi just cheaped out. I don’t remember our old B8.5 A5 sounding this bad.
Will post pictures in the morning after I've washed it.
Glad that I asked to pickup instead of having it delivered despite the distance (though three hours through rain and being stuck in traffic on the M1 was not fun...). Had a nice look around the new models before being shown to my car in...
Ah I see. I’d leave it then to be honest. Our cars will be under warrantee regardless so Audi should cover it if anything goes wrong, and the interim service costs less than a two year plan. In your case, it’s covered if needed regardless.
Wear and tear cover on the consumable parts is...
I’m honestly tempted just because I don’t want to have to pay for new tyres and I’ve had to previously replace two tyres on other cars because of random nails or debris from our area puncturing them. On the fence, might ask about it tomorrow.
Yeah, I've just decided to take the hit with Elephant. Cheapest on the comparison website that actually let me pay the quoted price in the end (online though, over the phone I was quoted an extra £40 p/m!)
A few weird thing I wanted to throw out there though about my collection on Friday. The...
I was also a bit annoyed about the registration, but I guess as it's a lease we don't have much input. From my understanding the registration had to be done for them to do the paperwork for the car, the licence plate info will be on your paperwork like mine I assume? They should have given you a...
Thanks Ant, going to try and run that through their system first thing and see if I can at least get coverage through the weekend while I finalise my insurance elsewhere. Annoying thing is that most insurance companies have no idea how to classify the car so we're probably not getting the best...
Did you have to set it up yourself or did your dealership do it? I phoned VWFS directly and they were happy to set it up but couldn't find my model (35/BE/Auto). Going to give it another go tomorrow morning.
Collection Friday! Wasn't expecting it for another few weeks, currently still at the docks according to my JSON code (40)
Just trying to sort out insurance and train tickets up to collect.
Thanks for the heads up!
For those leasing: have you enquired about the 5 days free insurance others have mentioned? Asked just now but my dealer said Audi no longer offer it?
I’m beginning to suspect that while they’ve been professional, they’re really not interested in finding this out for...
Email, but I’ll also need to send a copy back by post with my original licence.
To be fair I get the feeling my dealership is keen to get this over with. My car has already been registered with a 68 plate (even tells me what it is on the paperwork) even though my tracker hasn’t changed and...
Paperwork came through for me to sign and send back!
Already registered so couldn’t push for a 19 plate but whatever. Did notice on the paperwork that the advance rental is significantly more than what I paid in May but I’m not having to pay anything extra or have any funny business done with...
That’s fair enough, the waiting around and lack of information has been really frustrating to deal with. The lease I agreed to was the only reason I didn’t look elsewhere.
I’m glad (and slightly envious) to hear you found a good alternative you don’t have to wait for. Enjoy!
Car arrived at port yesterday, tracker confirms it's in the UK and my monthly Experian report shows VWFS has just done another credit check.
Fingers crossed this means the paperwork comes through soon and I can finally start looking forward to delivery!
