Assuming yours was brand new? Mines is an 11 plate that I bought last year, so even if I took it to Audi they'd charge a wack as there's no warranty. It's most likely my battery, as that's anyways on its way out.

Old thread lol, but I'm assuming it sits on the body of the car and rests above the wheel arch. Once you've cut into the carpet trim, you'd fit in the smaller end of the enclosure first (through the trim), so it'll then sit on the body of the car/wheel arch and the carpet rear side wall...

Nah mine's is actually faulty mate. Something either wrong with it, or its being caused by my battery which needs replacing. It's never worked since I've had the car.

Oh lol.... Hmmm, but I've checked the obvious things i.e. stereo, lights etc. And have done a fair bit of long distance motorway driving recently so the battery should have been sufficiently charged. So there's no point really trying to do anything about the windows, just have to live with it...

Yes mate, when the guy scanned it - he did clear the codes before and after (took it for a drive in between). He scanned it at least twice maybe 3 times and the codes didn't seem to go away. According to someone in another thread I opened in the VCDS section, it's apparently a fake/cloned...

Hmmm my battery was flat yesterday, so I think you're right there. It's coming to the end of its life time I guess ahaha. Will be replacing it this weekend and let's see if start stop starts to work :-)
