    Serial car changer strikes again!

Well the new car is in the country and I’m hopefully picking up this weekend or next. I had provisionally sold the car privately but unfortunately it fell through - c’est la vie. If anyone fancies a set of all weather mats, boot protector, or an OEM Vorsprung alcantara wheel with green...

    Serial car changer strikes again!

In this case hybrid… 3.0 petrol + electric PHEV. I can use the free charger at work to commute in and out of work and not have to worry about charging points on longer drives… so the man maths says at least  It’s a big beast but 483bhp should be sufficient…

    Serial car changer strikes again!

Well, it’s not been a long time but I’ve enjoyed the RS3 8Y Vorsprung SB. Must admit, I would never have picked the Kyalami from a colour swatch but it’s such a good colour in real life. I’ve decided to move on after only 11 months (eek) and have ordered a new car, a BMW X5 50e due at the end of...

Interesting info regarding rear vectoring diff.

On a separate note, where did you manage to get a copy of the workshop manual? I don’t suppose you know what the torque settings are for the steering wheel?

    Porsche 991.1 to 8Y RS3?

I’ve had 3 911s and now on my 3rd RS3. They are great little cars - I especially love the Sportback since it is so practical. The 8Y handles really well and is more engaging than the previous 8V. Surprisingly good in comfort mode if you want to take it easy and smoothly across rough tarmac… like...

    Porsche 991.1 to 8Y RS3?

No problem! I think you need to test drive the RS3 if you haven’t already. I love my RS3 but it does not drive like a 911. It’s a rapid little hatchback (in my case) which ticks all the boxes for practicality / grip / tech / safety / … but it is not as connected to the road as a 911. I agree...

    Porsche 991.1 to 8Y RS3?

I went from a 992C4S to a Macan Turbo, to a Panamera eHybrid, to a Boxster 4.0GTS and finally into my 8Y RS3! This is the 3rd RS3 I’ve had (8V, then 8V facelift) and it’s the best all round car for me at this point in time. I LOVED my 992 C4S - an absolutely amazing car… probably the best car...

RS3 vs M2 vs A45s vs boxster GTS

I came back to the RS3 (8V, 8VFL, now 8Y) after a spell away with Porsche (992C4S, Macan Turbo, Panamera e4S, Boxster GTS4.0). The Porkers certainly go around corners well but I haven’t found a better car than the RS3 for daily use. I’d buy another Boxster GTS as it was just great fun to drive...

Great looking dashcam, no wires - discount code included.

Sorry to hear that - especially since I have one on the way! :flushed: I had one in my Boxster and it worked - thankfully recording a no fault accident… although that was powered directly at the fuse box.

    New Vorpsrung Owners!

My local tyre fitter has fitted a few sets of TPMS (generally sourced from eBay!) to new wheels / tyres for me without question and they’ve worked every time with no issues… Any good independents in your area?

Great looking dashcam, no wires - discount code included.

The FitCamX has a rear camera option too which apparently plugs into the front rain sensor. I’d run the cables in the Boxster down the inside of the A-pillar trim and hardwired into the fuse-box - but the Boxster doesn’t have airbags in the A-pillars (they’re in the top of the door cards...
