Cheers tuffty I was meaning to update this. Since clearing the code the boost gauge has been fine and it's back to feeling like it was. Thankfully it was a cost free fix.

Right wee update on this. I assume that this fault is linked with the n75 valve? And if not what is it? The other diag machine wouldn't show me this 1. If indeed it was active.

Yeah the n75 is all plumbed in properly. Doesn't matter if I unplug it it still boosts to 1.2 bar. Before it was starting to hit full boost by 3.5k now it's closer to 4.5k if I use part throttle it seems to build boost better than going WOT. The 2 really thin nipples underneath the manifold...

So this is what my gauge is showing at idle once the car is up to temperature. I don't have access to vcds though. The only code that keeps popping up is a tank ventilation valve fault. Any ideas on where to look, to try and get the car running properly again?

The boost gauge is connected to 1 of the nipples underneath the inlet. It has only started causing issues since I removed the actuator and split it apart and regreased everything. Only other part I have had off is the charge pipe.

It was done by the previous owner. I assume it's to try and help reduce engine bay temps. Don't know how effective it would be though. it doesn't bother me much that I feel the need to remove it. Hoping to have it running again by the weekend.

So last night's progress was sorting the last couple of bits of wiring for the sensors. Getting the boost pipes on and aligned correct and radiator panel and intercooler now fitted. Aside from the battery think everything is now done up top.
