Here's my cheap alternative for now....
Bought the aux kit I linked a while back and wired it like this:
Run the wire back from the RNSE and up and round to the left and had it come back on itself just outside the housing of the RNSE and down into the little pop out tray as you can see in...
Yeah, might be worth considering in the long run...
Would need to get one with the majority of the RNSE's features too as well as bluetooth etc so as you say... Would be a bit pricey :blue:
Yeah this is the same plug as the kit I had before but the big plug I have takes up all the slots on the unit... I can't unplug individual ones or so it seems...
Unless you guys know a way round it?
All the plugs that are usually individual are all wired into one big one that takes all the...
Picture of the back of the unit as promised...
Not sure what caused it to flip on it's side all of a sudden but at least the numbers are there as point of reference as to which way round it should be!
Also now I realise that you may have meant the whole back of the unit... Will take another...
I've had a look and unfortunately these are all wired the same way the GTA Car Kit bluetooth kit was!
As of now the only alternative I can find is this, which sadly doesn't mean I can use the multifunction wheel with it but certainly is a cheaper alternative in the meantime!
Also I've found...
Sounds very similar to the GTA Kit I had, pricing and all...
Like I said, I'll keep an eye out for alternatives in the mean time and pop it on here if I find one :)
Cheers
At the moment I'll stick with what I've got as I don't want to go changing anything like that just yet, was looking for a more simple fix in the meantime before going ahead and changing the whole unit, thanks for the offer though!
Also not sure if it'd be compatible with the weird plug I have...
Have been looking for aux kits and other options to get an aux input in my A3 as constantly changing the songs on my SD cards is a pain...
I did buy an Pure Bluetooth Kit from GTA Car Kits which would have been great except for the fact all the plugs on the back of my RNS-E are wired completely...
