Jet wash and snow foam before hand to remove any grit and then Meguiars ultimate wash and wax working top down so that any grit still present only swirls the lower parts of the car, works a treat

Mythos would be your choice if you don’t like the sound of swirls as the metallic flakes will hide them a bit more than a solid But many places now do “swirl removers” such as Meguiars and if you’re careful when cleaning, you won’t get at many swirl marks I’ll let this picture speak for itself

Even the previous generation Fiesta which was on sale from 2008 had hill hold assist as standard! Not to mention the heated front windscreen as standard, which is one of the biggest things I miss from my old car, since getting an A3.

Wouldn’t know about a shut down but you’re right about the build dates. Mine was scheduled for a build week in November, but was built at the start of this month and I’m collecting it today!
