Yea I thought it should still be displayed in the menu a d the fact it isn't makes me wander if the control unit has packed up. I'm gunna see if anyone local to me has a VAG computer to plug in and diagnose the fault.

My next plan is to look to to see if its an Audi control unit for them in the boot and go from there. Just didn't know if It doesn't display it as it's faulty or if something's not been connected somewhere

I get a single beep that lasts several seconds. According to the manual this indicates a fault but you can adjust the settings of the sensors on the set menu but the option of parking aid doesn't come up. Hope that makes it clearer it's the menu settings. In the set section it should be...

Just picked up my new car a 3.2 a3 2005 an it's got a parking sensor fault. When put into reverse it beeps once do a few seconds which indicates a fault but there's no option of the parking sensors on the on-board computer. Any help is appreciated. Cheers

In desperate need of help I have a 3 door a3 8p and the drivers door window motors down about 3 inches then stops. It won't go down any further but it does go straight back up. It suddenly did this one morning and was working fine the day before, any help will be greatly appreciated. Cheers Jordan
