They already have done. And it bothered me very much. But the car was recovered, repaired and is back in my life now albeit with much improved home security.
What I was trying to say was, I would rather accept the risk of owning a car I wanted that's considered to be more desirable to thieves...
According to that article it's only one in a hundred that's stolen. Shame it was mine.
Any 'nice' car is going to be of interest to thieves. So you either have one and take security seriously or you have a car that's of little interest to them, which will also be of little interest to you.
It was in individual with engine set to dynamic, but as the car had been turned off and on again, the 1100(?)rpm tickover had reverted to sub 1k revs, so I suppose the same as comfort.

Drove the ****** thing again for the first time in 4 months since it was stolen & subsequently found & repaired.
Not a day too soon, I was beginning to bond with the Peugeot 1.6 diesel courtesy car.
They don't cause any damage, unless you're clumsy, they are lined with felt inside.
It is however a complete faff to have to keep putting it on & taking it off and storing it in the car (quite bulky).
