I scanned my car today with vcds lite as my alarm keeps triggering and boots not opening, I've removed the alarm siren but the lights keep flashing. I had one code come up. Brake light switch intermittent. But it couldn't connect an interface with the central locking or immobiliser control...

Possibly but I haven’t read anything about anyone doing it. You can retrofit the oem iPod connector and get a Bluetooth adapter to allow Bluetooth connectivity, I know it’s not an aux connection but could be next best thing. Search 30 pin to Bluetooth adapter or tune2air

Don’t think so mate. I’m not 100% but I think it’s an CD changer emulator, so there’s more going on than just audio input.

I have this iPod connection in my glove box. I’ve tested it with an old iPod and bought an adapter to test with my iPhone but I can’t get it to do anything. There doesn’t seem to be any buttons that correlate to the connector. Any help on how to get it to work would be appreciated

Replace the oil pick up with revised part. Part number 06F115251B Old part gets clogged and starves engine of oil. Should be changed every major service.

Good, so the s5 discs can be used then? I’m a bit confused about the pads, the 17z pads can be used in the 18z calipers?

Sorry to bring up an old thread but would the S5 B8.5 discs be better to use as they already have a bore of 68mm and are lighter.

I doesn’t “self rev” when changing gears though, and only when the clutch is released? Would the clutch switch show up as a fault if I scanned it?
