Well I thought I would never have this problem untill yesterday, reversing into my narrow width garage using wing mirrors, key in pocket and tailgate opened stopped just in time,dread to think of the cost of that,no more key in pocket!.

My S-line avant 218 non quattro has averaged 51.7 on fuelly web site over 2,800 miles, the best being 56 mpg.

3.0 Tdi 218 Avant Lifetime on trip is 52.6 mpg .On Fuelly 49.6 average over 1085 miles These are mainly long journeys in excess of 70 miles.

Not many miles as yet,hoping for a 300 mile trip at the weekend.
