    RSQ3 Squeaky brakes RSQ3

Yep that pretty much confirms what I said and the experience of many of other owners who have upgraded the performance on their cars. Doug from MRC was actually in the passenger seat data logging when my brakes faded badly after a couple of hard WOT pulls (you could see your face in the polished...

    RSQ3 Squeaky brakes RSQ3

Yeah a bit too much of the...... 'I heard that....' on here sometimes. I dread to think how much money and time you and I have spent of experimenting with pads and brake discs for the RS...not to mention the tyres. Lol. Defo don't tell the missus. The Redstuff pads are probably fine for those...

    RSQ3 Squeaky brakes RSQ3

The EBC Redstuff pads have been a thorny subject for fair a while on the Audi RS forums. The reason for this is that many owners who were frustrated by the annoying squeaking and fade prone stock brakes ended up searching for alternatives. I was one of those owners. The Redstuff pads had the...

Revo seems to just give you a canned tune, and if the numbers stated on this forum for DNWA cars are any indication what they make on DAZA cars they are well short of all their major competitors. Funny you say that.....every dyno shoot out session I have been on (and there have been plenty)...

My car was a full stage 2 package with down pipe, IC upgrade and larger turbo inlet (Forge). The switchable mapping allowed the use of higher octane fuel or booster which makes a a good difference on the DAZA engine. I also had the DSG mapping and had replaced the upper and lower dogbone mounts...

Here you go....I also have a 10.92 and 10.89 run somewhere too with terminal speed at over 127mph. These were recorded at some runs I did at Santa Pod. I had just over half tank of fuel that day too. Me and a friend ran our cars on low fuel at the previous SP event and had some weird stuttering...

The last MRC dyno run showed 548ps and 785nm but I see that the latest MRC switchable maps with higher octane fuel are seeing over 590ps and limiting torque to around 750nm (to help preserve the rods).

This is my FL car with MRC stage 2+ switchable mapping with DSG map. No crazy weight stripping and running 235/35 Michelin MSP4S street tyres. Car is full spec with extra weight of pano roof and rails etc. It also has Eibach suspension and upper (o34 motorsport) and lower (stainless APR) dogbone...

Avoid using high revs on a tuned car if you have fuel lower than 98/99RON in the tank or you will damage the engine. The FL car is especially sensitive to fuel quality and it makes a big difference to performance.

    Sportback Brake discs!

I found the best bedding in for the DS2500's with the Reylands is to go out for a 30 minute drive (early morning is best because people wonder why you keep speeding up and then braking again) and gradually build up braking feel with multiple braking/slowing with increased pedal pressure from...

    Sportback Brake discs!

Good choice on discs although I think the 380mm (same as fitted to my car) are probably a bit OTT unless you are doing a lot of track days. If I had to fit uprated brakes to another RS3 I would probably opt for the Reyland 370mm size (as fitted to T-1000 car) as they are plenty good enough for...

    Sports exhaust question

The pic below shows a stock sports exhaust down pipe (2018 FL car). You can clearly see the large cat right next to the top flange which joins the turbo and the horrible initial bend in the pipework as exhaust gases exit. With the cat being this close any extra performance (from tuning) adds...

    Sportback Brake discs!

That's the ones! No need for ceramics when you have this kit fitted. Have you sold these now TX?

    Sportback Brake discs!

Having tried all sorts of discs and pad combo's on both my PFL and FL RS3's and I have to say that the Reyland's and DS2500 pads get my vote as the best all round disc and pad combo at that price point. If money is no object, then the AP Racing Radical caliper and disc upgrade would be the...

    Fl Rs3 stage 1-2

Some of the latest multi-maps from MRC are seeing stock turbo FL cars running nigh on 600ps (but with limited torque to preserve the rods) with meth injection and running race fuel/ethanol mixes. Check out their Facebook page for 17th June (wont let me link it here)

    Fl Rs3 stage 1-2

At 4000rpm the Scorpion was 40ps and 70nm down on the Milltek but overhauled that deficit from 4k onward's to produce a peak of 548.9ps & 745nm versus 541.3ps and 765nm for the Milltek. The Scorpion would let the engine really pull at the top end and on dyno runs the power didn't drop away so...

    Fl Rs3 stage 1-2

I had a Milltek decat fitted for a few weeks and then swapped it out for the Scorpion DP which came with optional sports cat which could be taken on/off by loosening two C clamps and removing the straight through pipe section. I dyno tested both down pipes and discovered some interesting...

    Fl Rs3 stage 1-2

I turned up at Santa Pod a week or so after having the stage 2 mods installed last year. Car was running around a two third's of a tank of fuel, had new Michelin MPS4S all round but had only done a couple hundred miles on them and needed scrubbing in properly for best grip. The car managed three...

    Fl Rs3 stage 1-2

I had my FL RS3 from new and from 1,200 miles I went for an MRC stage 1 tune which I ran for 2 or 3 months and then upgraded to the MRC stage 2 with the switchable mapping which allows you to use octane booster/higher octane fuels. For me, the difference for the upgrade from stage 1 to stage 2...

    Opinions of Stage 2 on Pre-Facelift RS3

I have been reading through the posts on this thread and you must be very confused as to what you actually need to make your car go quickly, and avoid having to spend wallet melting amounts of cash.... and also end up with a safe tune that can run reliably at Vmax. First thing......you are...
