    Thanks. Since the car is still in warrenty I will ask the garage to look into it. I was concerned it may not be a radio issue at all, thats all.

    Have just bought a 2008 TT 2.0 FSI. Its only done 19 K miles and is in immaculate condition. However during the last long drive noted that the radio switched itself off after 1 hour. Has anyone else had this happen John
