After my first Audi (B7 quattro petrol)

Saw a B6 saloon sline (must've been last of the b6 on an 04?). Slightly flared arches? Looked so nice! Warming to the b6!

The lure of the sound of a v8 tho......... I've always wanted a mk5 r32 golf but after hearing my brother moan about fuel consumption in a land where petrol is cheaper than water (uae) it's put me off getting anything bigger than my 328 here in UK

Yeah sorry, I meant the 150 and 164 bhp b6 don't. But the 190 does, like the b7

After my first Audi (B7 quattro petrol)

Yeah it's more a difference between a 2.0tfsi and 1.8t really. I'd feel less guilty about sticking a set of coilovers and bola wheels on an older b6 too Surely with the 1.8t being done to death on all sorts of cars, the servicing and repair costs should be less, without a massive difference in...

    A4 1.8T BHP differences

Biased place to look but I've missed out on a 2.0tfsi b7 avant quattro and a b6 1.8t quattro has come up close to me. How different performance wise are they? 163bhp seems a bit low? And ownership costs in comparison? Ta

Just to throw a spanner in the works, what's the b(?) model before that like? 1.8t quattro. Is it the same 4wd system and that 1.8t that's in loads of other cars? Mapped it could be ok? Does looks dated now though that shape

Very nice!! I'm also a complete sucker for demanding a sub 100k one too. Don't know why, that 100k milestone is a subconscious pain in my ***

Will go look at it tomorrow, it's literally a mile or two from my house. So the main concerns are engine servicing, dv, belts, regular oil. Noisy tappets? Anything to spot and walk away from? 4wd system fairly safe bet/bulletproof?

After my first Audi (B7 quattro petrol)

Will go take a look tomorrow. Mileage shouldn't be a problem? What should've been done by then? This is the one with the ditch finder tyres though. What size can you fit to these so I can Che k camskill

Oh right so only s line avants are 217? There was never a dtm avant (if only!)? Im thinking to buy a cheap one and then spend a grand on it doing all the preventative work as peace of mind - good or bad idea?

Thanks a lot that's a brilliant bit of info. How much to budget to replace all those things for peace of mind? How much did you pay for yours if you don't mind me asking?
