Again the Audi connect is down to personal choice...but if you were happy with the basic mmi system I wouldn't say the audi connect is worth the extra premium for what it actually does...It's a nice to have but not really going to make any difference in your day to day driving.
Your dealer...
I don't really think it would make much difference, in the worst case scenario of a write off your insurance company will pay out the value of the car before the accident then you'd have the GAP insurance to basically cover the interest and any other costs left on your PCP.
Down to personal...
It is a lot of money for what it is really, and everyone has their own thoughts on it. When I looked at the standard and tech pack next to each other it was a no brainer for me....just think when you're spending £40k+ on a car the tech pack screen finishes the inside off a lot better....In my...
Have you looked at www.gapinsurance123.co.uk for a quote? Pretty sure it came in at about £150 for 4 years cover on there with a £25k claim limit which is more than sufficient for what you'll need.
Hope this helps
Coventry Audi seem to be the best for discounts at 11%....just use that quote and ask your dealer to match it, that's what I did and after a little hesitation they matched it. After all they all want a sale and not for you to go elsewhere.
Only thing I'd say is go for the Tech pack if you're...
No it should still be open for any changes at the moment, seems to be the norm that usually it's only a week or two before your build date that it gets locked in. Have you been on your Audi to check the status of your build? It could have been brought forward again and the dealer hasn't told you.
It shouldn't be locked already unless it's been brought forward to an earlier BW? However if you change any spec on your car now the price will be £800 more than when you first ordered it as the base price went up on 1st October, so any changes after that date will incur the new price.
Just seems like another way to squeeze a little more cash out of their customers to me, I can't see many people leaving the sat nav as standard because of the poor quality of it in a £40k car. So most people will end up spending yet another £1145 on the tech pack.
Yes the price you got when you ordered will be honoured, unless you change any spec on your vehicle now and I can't see them putting this new spec on vehicles which were ordered at the old price. I was advised by my dealer on Monday to make any final changes before the 30th September as the base...
Well after having the CLA45 for the day I can safely say I'll have the RS3 any day, just didn't get on with the Mercedes at all. Having one for the day did come in handy though as when I pulled up in it at the Audi dealership and said I wanted to cancel my order because it's going to be too long...
Seeing these pics has my head like a bag of spanners. After having the RS3 for a couple of hours the other day I changed my S3 saloon order to an RS3, but my delivery date is going to be June at the earliest. Then I have mercedes offering me a good deal on a new CLA45 with the new 481bhp engine...
I went into my local dealer (Grimsby) with my carwow quote and wasnt expecting them to come anywhere near it to be honest, after a bit of number crunching they actually came up with a better offer. Didn't look too happy about it as I'm sure that was probably his commission, but having bought...
Walking in Aberdeen one day I saw 5 variants of S3 all in Sepang within a couple of minutes, then topped off with a sepang RS5 coming roaring past :racer:
Put an order in for a S3 saloon yesterday morning and the dealership told me it would be mid March before I would get delivery then I got a phone call off them in the afternoon saying they had managed to get me a build slot in October due to a cancelled order, hopefully will get my build week...
