Amazing car! The S3 badge and Audi Rings look stunning! Tomorrow is confirmation drive and (hopefully) collection day... now I just need a reliable body shop to undertake the mods because if I try it will certainly go wrong!!!

It's been too long and much has changed...

Firstly, congratulations on ordering the RS3, I've postponed my decision for financial reasons but cannot find a competitor I'm content with, so RS3 will happen (hopefully next year!). Secondly, I'll caveat this (rather obviously) with the statement that it is all just my humble opinion...

Having driven both with and without on the 8V RS3 I was easily swayed that slower ride speed comfort was improved over poor road surfaces. My mind was swayed by the need to have 'that' exhaust though!!

There are people out there far more knowledgable about this than me, however my understanding is that the engine produces a said amount of BHP and a certain quantity is lost through transmission etc before it gets to the front/rear/all wheels. One common and minor mistake is that people quote...

Thankfully in the uk it's illegal to offer two different prices dependant on how you pay for it - unless you're talking incentives like deposit contribution. (Not for the RS3 for a while yet - if ever!) I've negotiated a healthy discount but may have built the ideal car just out of reach...
