Yep I contacted them via this email address back in March. Received a response back an hour later and was updated in the car within a day or two from memory. Just gave them my name and car registration number and that was it.
My warranty isn’t due to expire until November but at this stage it’s looking like I may well keep the car for the full 4 year PCP I’m on. However whenever I go to https://insurewithaudi.co.uk/extended-warranty it doesn’t let me get a quote as it says my car is still under warranty. How are you...
I've not noticed any issues on mine although to be honest now that Google Maps is finally available through CarPlay i've pretty much stopped using the Audi maps. Despite a few annoying bugs which hopefully will be fixed I find the maps are better and clearer, prefer the view which includes...
Managed to find this thread and a few others:

Looks like it’s an issue with IOS 12 and Podcasts app and isn’t Audi specific...
It seems like IOS 12 has definitely introduced a few issues that seem to be IOS related so hopefully...
By way of comparison I've the Avant 2.0 TFSI 190 auto and my average is 29.8 MPG after nearly 13K miles. I do a lot of very short local journeys and slow moving/stationary journeys in rush hour along with occasional motorway journeys around Ireland (which are generally nice and quiet) so I'd be...
I kind of regret getting the piano black trim - gets micro scratches way too easily and particular when the sun shines it doesn't look great. @cuke2u - do you find the Gtechniq glass sealant removes the scratches or just protects against getting them in first place? Do you use anything else?
Just to add in i've found CarPlay very reliable too although perhaps it does depend to an extent on what apps your trying to use on it. Should add i'm using latest IOS11 release and also had my MMI updated by my dealer to the latest version (to fix an issue with Sat Nav POI's) so that may have...
You can just use Audi chat on the website and you’ll get it extended for free. See this thread:
http://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/audi-connect-monthly-cost-after-3-month-trial-any-ideas.290451/page-2
Yep unless something has changed that was my understanding too i.e. the Google Earth is just a overlay view but the underlying maps still come from Audi so are used for all navigation, POI, etc. Therefore you need to update the Audi maps to keep up to date.
Regarding the original question as...
We've had quite a lot of snow and ice our way and have to say my 190 petrol S Tronic hasn't been great at all. Struggled to get up even the slightest incline on ice and in the snow its made me very nervous with back end coming out etc. Don't know if its partially me not being used to driving an...
Question - if I look at the tyre sticker on my door I can see that it lists both my tyre - 245/40 R18 but also lists 225/45 R18 M + S (Mud & Snow?). Does this mean if I am looking for a set of All Season tyres to replace my Summer tyres on the same 18" alloys that my Audi came with I could fit...
No idea of the costs involved so i'm guessing it probably costs an arm and a leg but would it make any sort of sense to buy a UK spec S4 (with potentially a decent discount) from say Belfast or Portadown Audi in NI and import to Ireland?
Yep the 3 month trial only applies to us poor non-tech pack owners. Having said that i’d still say it will depend on what your licence expiry dates are all set to on the MMI. If they are set to expire in 3 years time I’d say things will stop working once you cross that date and you’ll have to...
Used the Live Chat option on the Audi website again on Friday and my 3 month Audi Connect Trial has been kindly extended for yet another 12 months to Feb 2019 - happy days!
Yep wouldn't be surprised and whilst I know CarPlay / Android Auto aren't to everyone's taste and could still do with a lot of improving they likely will eventually signal the death of the built in Sat Nav (and other MMI type functions) that are money spinners as added options for car...
Cheers. Kinda defeats the purpose then although I guess it depends if you use CarPlay or not and like the option to just throw the phone in and have it charge without connecting cables.
For those of you with the iPhone X and the wireless charging option am I right in thinking you still need to connect the cable to access CarPlay? Or does it include wireless connection as well? Cheers.
Ah ok cheers. I’ve got used to always plugging my phone in now when i’m driving. Helps keep the phone charged (joys of an iPhone!) and avoid any temptation to check something on the phone which is such a big issue these days for causing accidents.
