Thanks.
No, definitely can’t go wrong with those especially BH. Below picture is of my bonnet during the showers the other day; the Double Speed-wax doing its job
A bit of an update of what I've done to the car over the past week:
-> changed the windscreen wipers to Bosch Aerotwins
-> bought a boot liner
-> last but not least, did a full-on detailing using the following steps and products:
1) Washed using Bilt Hamber (BH) Autofoam + two-bucket...
this is nice. I'll check them out.
so what they do is basically take the original wheel and re-profile it? any structural changes to the wheel to get the bottom flat?
Hi Everyone,
Coming here over from the A4 B9 forum. Sadly decided to hand my beloved B9 back to Audi as I was deep in negative equity (it was on PCP).
Decided to buy myself a used C7 BiTDI as my next ride. Picked this one up a couple of weeks ago. Born in 2016, 23k miles on the clock. A few...
I was initially planning to try an S4 after this car but the new S4 is a no no for me with its tacky fake exhausts and the faked engine sound :puke:
I’m now hoping to arrive at a smooth pcp ending with my car so that I can buy it out but we’ll see. As they say, never say never :)
I’m in a very similar situation with my 3.0 tdi 218 quattro s-line, now approaching my 3rd year of a 4-year lease with it. I carefully specced it back in 2016. Final price was around £41k but I got a great deal on pcp, paying £408 a month with a £500 deposit and a high GMV.
Been looking around...
the new front is so ugly and off-putting that even Audi themselves didn't dare put a single picture of it on the front page of their .de webpage, instead concentrating on sides and rear..

Could this be an attempt by some dealerships/salesmen to try and move their current stock of S4/5, if any? I mean bless them but certain sales guys can and will apply certain degree of cunningness in hunt for sales in times when orders are probably drying up (?)
I agree, the A6's interior is really nice. It's just I can't get past all the touchscreens (they feel excessive to me) and the lack of good old physical buttons. I'm sure it's just down to different tastes; I'm probably just old-fashioned when it comes to these things. I never liked the virtual...
I haven't sat inside a new A-class yet but am now itching to see it. I did notice that they've tried to emulate the A3 this time round, especially the front daytime running lights looked suspiciously like those of A3.. :witless:
I think the interior of the 8v A3 is simply outstanding. It still outclasses many of the other 'bigger' cars. It was the interior of my A3 that made me an Audi fan in the first instance :D
for some reason I really don't like the interior of the new A6/A7 - too glossy, too touchscreeny for my liking. Feels a bit tacky to my taste. And those fake exhaust pipes? OMG!
I much prefer physical buttons and switches. Love the interior of my A4 and also loved my previous A3's with those...
Would anyone please explain what happened to the model range on the Audi website? Haven't been checking it for a while, went online the other day and couldn't recognise all the badging et al, for example what's all that 35, 40, 50 business? And where are the 3l engines on the A4s? Are they gone...
And that'll probably be performed by a junior mechanic/apprentice. Having worked in this industry in the past, I know that revenue from Aftersales makes up the main chunk of their profits, at least here in the UK. Servicing jobs carry a lot of margins especially these regular 'basic' checks on 1...
