The car has covered probably 10k since the cambelt and water pump was done. And I think with a full service I paid £500 all in, I dont think you can knock someone £2k for something that you need to pay for in 4 years that would need to be done on literally any car you buy lol. Anti roll bar...

I've found a place local to me, they charge £150-£175 + VAT to repair the cluster. I think it's £35 + VAT for them to test it to see if it can be repaired.

So as an update, went to a local garage who said they had Vagcom, turned up and the cable was with one of his guys on the road, he plugged it into his Snap-on diagnostic machine and it brought up the code "00532 - Supply Voltage B + Upper Limit Reached" Even though the cluster had died it was...

Hi guys, it didn't work. Would a normal OBD scanner be able to actually find anything or will I need to take it to an Audi dealership?

Done that and checked the battery, battery is fine. Thought it may have been dying. I've never shorted the leads before, sounds like a stupid question but I just touch either end of the spanner with the disconnected leads? I'll check the fuses too cheers

Hi guys Haven't driven the car for about 3 days, went out yesterday and it stuttered when it started (assumed it was just because I haven't used it and it's been quite cold) and then the whole dash died. No lights at all, nothing was lighting up around the temp dials etc etc and the odometer...

Both auto: S4 at 400bhp would be like 235bhp/ton S3 at 350bhp would be like 240bhp/ton But really an S4 should get closer to 420bhp from a remap making it almost 250bhp/ton and it will also have 40ft/lb more torque. The S3 will be more fun to drive and cheaper to run. S3 maps are like £500...

My friend has just bought a 3 YO 280 Leon and mentioned that they make an estate model, and after looking it appears to be a close call between that and the Octavia. So I wondered if you considered the Octavia when you traded in the S4?
