Hi mate, ive been quite on nutz for some time now, but just last week i have bought a torsen 3.6 diff, just looking for a 6 speed now then time to forge the engine.
The 19's never rubbed at all once i had fitted the stiffer ARB's I suppose it depends how low you run the car also, I washed them...
It seems to be, ive never seen another one before in person when looking for one it had to be either in this santorini blue or dakar yellow, all the other colours dont really stand out as an M car just look like an ordinary 3 series haha
There is, its the bmw V2 performance wheel so it had the shift lights built into it and has hidden buttons and you can view oil/coolant temp and also has a lap timer and G-force meter built in to it! Its pretty cool haha!

Well its been a fun 18 months ownership of the S3 but my time has been cut short with it unfortunately. Id of liked to of kept it till next summer but after the Nurburgring i had truly fallen for E92 M3's they are just such a composed car and one popped up for sale last week at the right price...
Heading out to the Nurburgring tomorrow so got the car in for an oil and filter change and a quick enhancement detail

If i can find something that does as good of a job then sadly I will be selling the S3 at some point (mid2017) to make way for something else AWD+boost+paddles as my "sensible daily" which really isn't a daily at all haha! I have a works transit van for that.
The S3 gets drove on weekends and...
Id like to but im trying to be sensible and save up for something with more potential rather than plough more money into the S3, want something with Paddles next.. TTRS or GTR or an EVO 10 something along those lines

Look on awesome GTI and that have pictures of what the cables look like so just buy the ones that match yours
When changing my clutch i noticed the selector had worn excessively which was causing huge amounts of play at the gear stick, i actually thought the nut had come loose it was that bad...
So i orderd a short shifter of ebay for £30 which is pretty much identical to the forge one but for less than...
You defiantly wont regret it, made more of a difference to the handling characteristics than coilovers and whiteline anti-lift kit for me,
The mx5 really is great! Its my first RWD car and it's just a blast to drive! Its so impractical and stiff and loud and rattly i love it. The S3 is my more...
A good read, car has came along way from when you bought it! Get the H&R anti roll bars on and it will deffinatly help with the rubbing on hard cornering ;)
Your in the same boat as me now, not much else to do with the car other than going for a bigger turbo and push more power, car ownership...
Nice! Yeah the foam base never had much weight to it but the backs aren't half a good chunk! Last year i got stuck with the luggage in the car while going round the trackso it was squatting and rubbing a fair bit, so taking the rear seats out will compensate the extra weight just incase that...
So on friday i went to Richard Martin Automotive Soloutions to get the APR runner flap delete file uploaded to the ECU,
Then went to pay @Tom5190 a visit aa he was kind enough to fit and code my cruise control for me so that's all sorted now, took it for a drive to test it and think i may of...
Yeah i was allowed in, we had to do it out of work hours so we were the only people in the workshop only the showroom was open
The wheels are 19's i can't remember the width and offest i think 8 ET40 something
Its not too bad its not snatchy like a paddle clutch, just with the pedal being stiffer it wants to spring up alot harder which makes it bite harder if that makes sense, i stalled the car reversing it off the ramp as the bite point was a lot further down and the pedal just flew up haha! Wasn't...
Well spent yesterday afternoon down at the local lookers VW garage where my mate works and they were kind enough to let me use a ramp, so got the clutch in, the original audi one was shot! I was surprised it was the stock clutch tbh as it has held stage 2+ power for a good while but it was...
