    Oil consumption on 2.4 V6

Hey guys, I think from Googling this may actually be normal, but just wanted to check... :) I've done about 3,000 miles in my Cabriolet since I got it and have had to top the oil up three times, the last lire I put in lasted about 850 miles before it needed another litre chucking in. The car...

    First timer with clay bar

And if you want a cheap source of lube I strongly recommend diluted ONR in a spray bottle, you can make gallons of the stuff for much less than regular clay lubricant. Of course this is only much use if you have ONR ready for general washing I suppose...

new to this...sell me the full package (cost not really an issue)

That's the way to do it!! :D I was racking my brains earlier and I think that's my "go to" selection of products, you can do almost anything with the stuff on the list, very versatile stuff. Although realised I still forgot to suggest anything for doing the glass, although hopefully you spotted...

new to this...sell me the full package (cost not really an issue)

OK so I've not done the full on snowfoam and two bucket wash routine for a while, not since discovering ONR and moving to a third floor flat, but if I were doing it all again then- Obviously a HD Foam Lance and some sort of PH neutral foam, Valet Pro is pretty good, Chemical Guys is normally...

Swirls after cheap hand carwash! :(

^^^ What he said :) It's good stuff, if the weather's really warm then I do one or two panels at a time, if the weather's quite cold then I can do the whole car before moving on to drying. The main thing is that if you buy it by the gallon then cost per wash is very low (I use three capfuls...

    Wow waterless washing.....

OK I was scared the first time I used ONR, which has actually turned out to be amazing (I almost never use a pressure washer or Two Bucket Method any more) but there's no way that I think I could be persuaded to use that on a decent car. Would be far too scared of marring and swirls. I only...

Swirls after cheap hand carwash! :(

This^^ I've been living in a flat for three years and Optimum No Rinse is the answer. I corrected my Mondeo 18 months ago and the paint is stll pretty good despite almost never having seen a hosepipe. I buy it by the gallon, spray the car with a dilute solution from a spray bottle, then wash...

Hi all, Have just added an introduction in the welcome section but figured I'd better start asking my proper questions in here! Looks like a nice forum, hope to hang around for a while ;) I've just bought a 2004 2.4V6 cab, in really lovely condition but I have a few questions... 1) Where's...

Hey! New A4 Cabriolet owner :)

Hi guys, just thought I'd drop in and say hi. I've just this evening bought myself an 04 A Cabriolet 2.4 V6 so reckon I'll be darkening the doorstep of the forum for a while :D Excuse my username, it's the one I always use, and traditionally I've had a succession of Fords but I viewed the Audi...
