    thanks for this reply, however this isnt the same as my problem my air con works fine (in summer its nice and cold) the problem is, in winter when it's cold I only get heat from the passenger side, and it's only intermittent heat at that.

    not sure to be honest, the pump has been replaced twice (once by audi 2 years ago) and once by my mechanic, neither fixed the problem so would assume it was saying mechanical fault. thoughts?
