I just want to know what cars you guys would consider after your B5 A4. I'm going to change car early next year (Feb/March) and so far its the 98-01 A6 1.8T on the table, so would like to know what other people see as good contenders.

As above, how much will it cost me colour coding the black bits on a 98-01 A6. I know prices will definitely vary from place to place but I just want a rough indicator from a decent bodyshop before I decide on our budget. Thanks.

This afternoon in this extreme heat the aircon pump started to sound like a grinding machine when the air con was on. I managed to make a 25 mile trip from Watford to North London and back with the car nice n cool. Is this a sign of a dying pump?
