Mine was not activated when i bought the car so i had to pay to get mine activated and pay for the maps. Yes mine is an sd card satnav and im wondering the same now , can we just get the updated maps and put them on a sd card and use them?

It does show it pays to ask around and how you can get a big price difference between 2 approved dealers. Ive used the sat nav all weekend to find a bike shop, find a house where i bought a space saver spare wheel and few other places and it worked perfect :)

Ive been out today and bought myself a space saver wheel and placed it in the boot, i hope i never have to use it but its there if i do :)

It sits on that lip but there is a gap between the false floor and the real floor ( sadly Its not touching the bracket) and it doesn't feel very strong, i wouldn't want to put too much weight on it as it flexes in the middle, that's why i wondered if there should be a support under it :uhm:

Mine sits on this lip thats around the outside. Do all a1's have the battery in the boot to?

The boot false floor does not seem that strong, is the meant to be a support in the middle or something, and what's meant to be in this holder type thing on the battery bracket please :)
