    My old B8 handled good but found it a little sloppy on some bends, moved into a B8.5 and this handles far better and more comfortable on rougher roads both cars had and have Sline suspension.

    Little update on this. Lance called around and put the new map in. Totally changed the way the car drives now. Pulls like a train all the way up through the gears. Very nice guy with no nonsense. Would recommend auto-tune to anyone thinking of a remap.

    Been in touch with auto-tune and I’ve the car booked in to be done. He’s going to travel down to me and do it. He’s recommended doing an EGR delete on it. Said they still give trouble. I know on my last one I had to replace the EGR

    Ordered up a TRW caliper and pads today. The mate will skim the disc if needed but hopefully it won’t need to be done. Worst comes to the worst I’ll just buy a new one. €180 all in so was too bad.

    In need of a new brake caliper for the front left hand side of a 2010 sline 170 bhp model. Just landed into work and heard all this squealing coming from the front and went out and checked only to find a nice ball of heat coming from the disc.

    We all know the DIS isn't exactly accurate. I changed my tyres the weekend to khumo ecsta Le sport and over the course of 300 miles the mpg has steadily been rising. This mornings trip home in normal traffic got up to 61.4mpg.
