More of a general comment that Audi would invalidate all drivetrain warranty if they seen an exhaust modified. Especially if an engine went pop.
I bet Audi would try and invalidate all drivetrain warranty if they see your exhaust is modified.
I had a mapped TTRS. Now have a 991.2 Carrera 4S. Handling is on another level but honestly, I miss the TT.
I had stage 1 with secondary decat and it was much faster and louder than stock. I think it's enough, as well as being very cheap.
I had MRC map my PFL RS3 and that was a savage power delivery.
I then had Revo map my TTRS. That was a much more linear power delivery,...
ETTO but I much preferred mine mapped. Was brutal!
Toy no longer. Secondary decat is LOUD!
**** it, I’m renaming myself to T-10000!
Ah, maybe so in that case. I’m referring to the rattle during the cold start phase.
Don’t worry about the rattle. If you cycle back through to dynamic before starting the car, it doesn’t happen. Or it didn’t on mine.
No stop/start disabled and the awful cold start noise still there unfortunately.
But very pleased with performance. Didn't seem as aggressive as...
I remember paying £1500 insurance for a Clio 172 when I was 19. Going back quite a few years now!
I ran Revo stage 1 on my TTRS for about 15000 miles and it was perfect.
This was on a TTRS, 67 plate.
I paid £350 when I first got my RS3 about 3 years ago.
I noticed a nice reduction when I put in my driving licence number on compare the market....
I remember my old mk5 Golf GTI sounded very diesel like. Even when pulling off. Much better once moving though. And what a fantastic car all round.
£4 for a pad on an RS... :wtf:
I quite like the stealthy look. Can you get the mirrors sprayed. Would look even better (and stealthier) with them body coloured!
I just hope the interior is nicer than the latest RSQ3. And that it’s a 5cyl engine that sounds as good as it does now.
Oh come on @Bristle Hound, nothing Audi design could ever get close to the monstrosity that is the Civic Type R!
