My March 2016 mats have no markings on them, but I do love how they show a diagram of their position in the car on the bottom after taking them out for a clean.
I am very much out of my three years but still receive all of the connect services and my last big map update was also out of the...
Trade in I get 15k, privately sold similar cars on autotrader are 19k so realistically 18k which is still a 3k difference if I put the effort in and sell myself.
But my question is, do people buy 18k cars privately? Has anyone sold their A4 privately, share any experiences please.
I am still undecided on my next car (warranty now up on my B9) but popped in to look at the A6 Avant whilst driving pas the other day. The salesperson told me that the new A4 will get the larger MMI screen (to cope with it being touch screen now presumably) and virtual cockpit as standard. BUT...
Mine has gone off several times also, the garage told me that anything could trigger it including leaves if it's windy. On one route to my house, there is a tree almost in the road which sets the pre sense off every time. If I go that way, I have to turn it off.
It is a huge shock when it...
I used a third party app to mirror when I first got the car. I'll fish it out if you are interested. It has been blocked by Google however so you will need to edit the apk file just to change some identification details.
For Connect, Traffic and Google Earth the car uses the data from my phone hence turning on tethering as soon as I get in the car. I rarely use Android Auto unless on a longer journey for better sound quality, normally I just pop the phone on the charging pad and bluetooth the music over.
LOL, exactly the same thing I noticed so updated Good Lock straight after.
On my S8 prior to Pie, I was using Tasker for a routine that when I connect to the car bluetooth, it turns off wifi and turns on tethering so that the car and passengers use my phone data. On Pie this stopped and the...
Not an issue on that front, I've only just hit 20k. That's good to know, the A3 I had years ago needed something worth £1500 if I'd have kept it. Not sure what it was now but it was a mileage thing IIRC
My friend works for Mercedes so receives a new car every few months, I like the outside but inside and the quality of the drive just doesn't do it for me. Volvo is again the same, like the outside but boy is the inside ugly. Also, nothing beats the Audi for lack of road noise. There isn't...
I've looked at a variety of cars from all makes but don't feel like I'd be getting anything better. Hanging out until the summer also, see what turns up. Another problem with not renewing the car, I have to get an MOT
I have received an email from Audi
"The brakes in your Audi A4 are some of its hardest working components – and brake fluid is vital to keep them in sound working order. That’s why a brake fluid change is necessary after a car’s 3rd birthday, and every 2 years after that. The time has now come...
A software update popped through to my phone on Saturday morning so I took the car for a drive, no audible directions, didn't change the volume. I then updated the software, started up android auto again and voila, the sound is back.
For me it seemed to be an Android update that caused it and...
I'll give this a go also, thanks for the update. Mine was set and has been working to a particular volume for almost three years so I still believe a software update has reset it to 0 or similar.
