So we've got pretty much identical cars (given mine has 50k more miles) but over the last 1000 miles I've averaged 32mpg (at most). Also a mix of motorway and town driving, really doesn't seem right to me.
I got the map done just over a month ago to see if it helped with the fuel economy, as it was just as bad before, if not worse... I'm trying fuel additives at the moment and if they make no difference the next step is a terraclean, other than that I guess it's just a fact of life ♂️
This'll be a fun one, 2016 2.0tdi Avant, 190 ultra remapped to 222, auto and quattro. Everyday driving mix between town and motorway at 70/50mph, averaging 33mpg. Convinced somethings not right with it but made a few posts on Facebook and it seems to be a common issue with the 2.0 being...
Hi, struggling to find an H15 bulb for the girlfriends A1 that isn't yellow and dreadful, do you have any alternatives that would give a whiter light? Cheers
Manual or s-tronic?
I only have a non-res catback and I get a few pops when I downshift with my s-tronic, can only imagine with a standard remap, downpipe and intake you'd get a bit more noise
I ended up getting one for my S3 and it ended up being a lot louder, but not to the point where it's unbearable. Sounds more like it should have from the factory now
Yep, I know exactly what you're on about. I've never taken mine back to get fixed or that but it's definitely the exact same scenario you're describing, another member on here mentioned that they got the doors realigned and the noises completely stopped. You can use the gummi phledge stuff but...
Paid most upfront then when I collected the car I paid the remaining balance cause I hadn't had time to look over the car properly, to be fair I only noticed most of the problems last week and it's been on the car a month now. I'm in a dispute with him at the moment and I'll be going to trading...
Consider your self lucky mate, I spent £450 for a guy to have my car 4 days, said he would do the same as yours and seal everything in ceramics as well as all interior fabrics and leather. He ended up rushing the job and left me with loads of problems to deal with, the windscreen hadnt been...
To be fair I'll probably try and remove the glue tabs that are there (may prove difficult due to how fragile they look) but if I glue them on at least I know they won't be coming off again
So during the weekly wash tonight when it came to the alloys I noticed that the 4 rings badges on the centre of the alloy were sticking out slightly, so much so that I could grab them with my fingers and they came off with no effort at all, I checked them all and 3 out of 4 alloys had the same...
Do you have the tech pack with yours again? That system has more power anyway I believe so the door speakers might be better then! I'll probably go down that route, less fiddly haha
Yes this has been done a few times by other members but his s3's MMI is an updated version as it's a newer build, as is mine, meaning we can't code the MMI to open the ports to allow the connections for the new speakers.
In my opinion the stock system is very tinny and very little bass, so...
