make sure your not placing the 1/4 drive above the 'tab' on rear of the shocky. the tab will foul on the ratchet and wont allow it to slide out. as mentioned above i found it easier removing hub with it and disconnect the drive shaft. if its s3 spings ur ok but if its sport or sline ul strugle...
i have the carista app, will that show up fault codes relating to HVAC or will it need to be vcds? at work at the moment but can try carista once i finish?
for the regen i thot that was the cooling fan at front of the engine, its my blower vent fans in cabin of the car that are running when engine is switched off?
last week for 2 or 3 days for some reason my internal blower fans would kick in on full blast when i shut off the engine. last drove the car on friday, jumped in it this morning and battery was dead..... any one experienced this before~? apologies if its all ready been covered but cant seem to...
how did you get on with this gordon? i too have bought s3 springs for a3 with sport suspension. fitted rear springs, sits better. but before i try the fronts im thinking front shocks will be too long for the s3 springs? cheers
hi sorry mate just seen this, i had these on a3 8v quattro 184 sportback, my car has the sport suspension from factory and not the s line so lowered mines a hell of a lot as the sportlines offer the largest drop, i have listed the springs on ebay if your interested or can sell via paypal to cut...
Are you local and able to collect or need posted mate? I'd need to check ebay etc to see what they are worth second hand. I'm not too sure. Make a fair offer if u like
I had my engine remap removed and original map put back back on and it solved my issue. The dsg box needs to be mapped to suit an engine remap. A software update on the box should sort your issues out
