I doubt it’s anything to do with the bulbs.
You should of done more research,
firstly oem bulbs are 4300k which are not a white light, they may seem it but there not, 5500k - 5700k is about the closest to white, anything above starts appearing blue.
Secondly, how your describing your issues...
Thanks all for kind words
I used to be heavily into retro fitting so when I bought it I couldn’t resist adding all the extras
It’s mint apart from the wings just started near the sills
I’ll get it done then she will be locked away, bought out on the odd occasion it’s sunny for a trip to...
Been a member for years owned other models / platforms but have now bought myself an S3 8L for toy / investment
Had a red one brand new in 2000 and have always loved them.
Took a long time to find colour / spec I wanted but finally got it
All original apart from front bumper / bonnet been...
If the bcm is low then how does Odis programme it ? Another guess maybe ?
Year dependant on the 8v depends on level of bcm ( which is another story )
Low bcm are being faded out across the vag range
Of course a scan of vcds is always required before any mod
I clearly posted because I’ve...
That’s because that’s the system Audi now always use, they no longer use VAS which was the same as vcds
All done at dealers by Odis since newer cars had component protection which only works by Odis which is connected back to Germany

Rubbish
Odis is NOT required !
It is a simple coding change in 09 central electronics
I’ve done LOTS of these for people
Your clearly guessing or just going on what someone else has guessed and told you !
I’m talking from personal experience
Odis would only come into play if the central...
100% yes
Have a good search on here and even over on the TT forum, plenty of people have done the mod and NO ONE has had to use Odis

Washer jets & levelers were not required for mot when I’ve done it in the past, ONLY if they were factory fitted are they required for mot
That’s what I was told at my local mot station where I asked before fitting
Also as mentioned above, lower wattage etc now fitted on newer cars makes...
You NEED the adapters and you also need vcds to reprogram the cars bcm to tell it you have bi xenons with led drls
The loom adapters won’t work without coding
They are basically a 10 pin to 14 pin adapter

Retro fitted bi xenons do NOT require washers and levellers by law for an mot !
Your guessing or quoting what you THINK is right, this is not fact.
Mot rules are if it’s not fitted it can’t fail, same rules as a passenger mirror, a spare tyre, a rear wiper, if it’s fitted and faulty then it...
Agree regarding Good tyres / good mileage, had them on my mk2 TT

Depending on your door modules but some have a dedicated pin for it as they are basically modules from a golf that actually have mirror puddles
I did it on my old tt

Which tune2air are you using
If it’s the 1000 then the lead connecting it has to be the corrrct one with the blue ring

They won’t work
The lin version isn’t compatible
You’d need the same button style but without the left / right arrows, you’d need the “mode” button
