They did, but they're cut back behind the Leds. I plan to add some amber Leds though. I think i'll put a ring of amber leds within the main beam halogen reflectors as they'll be more visibile there.
No problems at all with the mot ,it's had 2 since fitting. The drls have actually replaced the sidelights with how I have wired them, they work at full brightness as drls and at dimmed brightness as sidelights.
I've just done exactly this. The B7 apron is a straight swap onto the B6 bumper. I think the bumpers are identical anyway. It looks so much better too, well worth doing.
I don't know about shortening the projectors, your's look slightly different to mine so it may be possible, also yours not being a cab you may have more room to mount them. My Drls are mounted static too, with the projectors mounted on the original self leveling plate within the headlight housing.
Yeah defintely, mine have been running perfect since last summer. Where I think you might struggle is the placement of the projectors,as the B6 headlights aren't very deep where the indicator is,and that's kind of where you'll want your main beams to go.
You're correct with the PWM too, In day...

I've done it with the earlier style A5 ones , on a cabriolet though....Be warned though, It ain't plain sailing :-)
Got to admit it they do look a million times better than the B6 ones .
Was the coding easy to figure out and is the resister required to stop the bulb failure warning ? I was looking for a way to code out my front side lights and I bet it's a similar setting.
Has anybody fitted H&R springs to their Cabriolets? I've got a broken rear coil so I need to replace them but I'm unsure which to go for.I'd like to lower it but it seems they only do a 30mm drop for the cabriolets but a 50/40mm drop for the saloons/avants. I always thought that the avant...
It's the underneath of the door handle below the switches. its near the front edge of the switches and is quite small but once you find it you'll wonder how you've not seen it before.
Yes, just pushes out from underneath. I went further and stripped the covers off and then sprayed loads of cleaner into the switches. you can't harm them with the contact cleaner so get plenty in there and you should be good as new again.
Sorry just expressing that I sprayed a hell of a lot of electrical contact cleaner into the switches to clean them, This is the stuff that I used Halfords | Halfords Electrical Contact Cleaner 400ml
Theres a tiny hole in the door handle under the bank of switches. Stick something in that like a terminal screwdriver and you should be able to release the switches from the car. I stripped mine and drowned them with electrical contact cleaner to get them working again.
Hi pbarlow0032 , did you ever manage to get your interior sorted? and did you get any joy from the furniture clinic? I've suffered a large scratch to the the front of my passenger seat so I need to sort it asap.
