I've lowered mine on 40mm springs - no additional parts needed but you'll definitely need re alignment afterwards. That price is extortionate though - the swap can be done in an hour so you shouldn't be paying anywhere near £200. My advice would be to go somewhere else based on their advice and...
Would you mind measuring the floor to arch height?
It does look a touch lower than mine but it's difficult to tell between different angles of pictures
There was always an element of risk given that nobody had fitted them before. I'll let them settle for a while then have a think. Ultimately, it's not come down as much as I'd have liked so if it doesn't settle any more, I may well go for something else but only once I've seen proven results...
So here are the measurements of floor to arch through the centre of the wheel:
S-Line suspension
Front - 655mm
Rear - 663mm
KW 40mm springs
Front - 645mm
Rear - 657mm
So it pretty much hasn't moved!!! I thought it had come down more than that but obviously not
I'll wait to see how others...
It's from SE spec by the looks of it. I measured the floor to arch height of the car before lowering so will confirm once I've had a chance to measure the new height.
In hindsight, I should've gone for S3 40mm springs for more of a drop
I had the S-line suspension before. I've been out all day today and the ride quality is definitely unchanged from factory. I've not had a chance to measure the actual drop yet but it's definitely not 40mm, as expected.
For the cost, I'm pleased with the results. Would love it a bit lower but...
I've gone with 40mm ST by KW springs. Had them fitted yesterday but not had a chance to take pics yet. The car seems to have come done a touch but I'll confirm by measuring once it's fully settled. The ride quality is no different to factory so overall, I'm happy
I'll see if I can get some pics...
I think it's from se-spec. I've got s-line suspension on mine which is already 25mm lower than se. I've got 40mm springs waiting to be fitted so will measure before and after to confirm
Hi guys,
I tried to enable to the visual display for rear parking sensors on mine. I followed the coding mentioned earlier in this thread but was shown error 33 - access not allowed.
I typed in the access code provided on here but with no luck. I tried with two separate VCDS and got the same...

Although some dealers may try & tell you differently, this only affects the warranty of linked components
Horses for courses but that doesn't bother me one bit
I've got some 40mm springs on order from ST by KW for my s-line. In hindsight, I should've ordered s3 springs to get a full 40mm drop from s-line suspension ride height
I'll post pics and feedback when fitted
ConS3 - any pics from square on to see how your wheels sit in the arches? I'm going...
I think the additional LED lighting was only standard from MY13. There was another thread on this a while back - my car was delivered in March 2013 and doesn't haven't the additional lighting but the original brouchure (pre MY13) didn't mention it as the latest version does. Bit annoying!
A few absolutely filthy pics of mine

Hi Damian,
Have you sold any of the lowering springs yet or seen them on a car?
Looking to order but would like to see how the car sits on them if possible
Cheers
Info on needle sweep is on this thread:

I've activated it on mine and posted a video on page 2
Good info on here, will hopefully add the display for standard rear sensors soon
Who did you deal with at Guildford? I also got mine there and the car was in a handover room where I was free to look round it and was shown the main controls. It was a very good experience but as others have said, it will vary from one dealer to the next and on who your salesman is
