it does drink oil, prob around a litre every 4k or so at a rough guess
and i agree, the car was going fine when it was on the road, only time it sounded/felt off was at idle.
On the road, it pulled through the gears fine no problem

Audi say the timing chain has slipped.
Cylinders 1&2 have no compression
They have to strip the head off to check the Pistons & valves for damage.
This is just to be on safe side.
All to the tune of £1400
