In fairness I haven't tried the other waxes you mentioned but I have nattys blue paste and also a premium £50+ wax and I still enjoy the merits of nattys blue. Like most things in this world I guess you have to speak as you find :)

Doesn't get much cheaper than nattys mate, not unless you fancy all your hard work being washed away in the next downpour!

Find a bit of pipe or something that will fit in the gap (preferably some flexible stuff like a washing machine hose or just a piece of hose for that matter) then gaffatape it to your existing attachment. Job done

That's the unfortunate thing - I got through a pack of ten quite quickly as no matter how big or small the mess is you still need to use a wipe! Considering how much damage it can cause to the lacquer I would have thought 'any' type of wipe within reason would be ok, in answer to your original...

Like I said, bird dropping wipes, keep them in the glove box and try removing asap.

Autoglym bird dropping wipes. They are a bit pricey but very useful...:thumbsup:

The services of a professional detailer I would say, paint correction on an Audi (or on any car for that matter) is quite a specialised task. Maybe not what you wanted to hear but i'm sure all the pro's on here will give you their 2 cents worth too!

Autogylm products seem to get a bit of a mixed result amongst enthusiasts. They have been around a long time and still appear to be endorsed by Aston Martin etc to name but one maunfacturer. I have tried a few bits and pieces out from there range, the SRP, Superglym polish, Body Conditioning...

You could try Nitromors. A mate of mine and I once stripped an old Land Rover back to bare metal using this stuff. Sounds like it might be just the ticket. I would suggest just brushing it on to the parts you want to strip.

I tested it out over the weekend too and I was pretty chuffed with the results. Left it on for probably nearly half an hour or so and there was plenty of activity going on, lots of deep purple streaks. Impressive stuff...
