This is the one your after, it has the security hole in the middle too. That is if its only the sensor you need removing.
As neil says above if its to exchange the unit, they will need the housing too.

Right, just bought a set of Votex skirts for my A3 8P, Ive been looking throught the fitting kit and instructions and theres some transparent stickers that the manual refers to as "front adhesive part" & "rear adhesive part". Any idea what they are for? The manual states "adhere the adhesive...
Cheers Mark thats a big help. I was looking how to get into the DV and read somewhere about going in through the light cluster??? I think the undertray idea is gonna be a lot easier.
Also the whirring sound is the air con, I just havnt been using it much recently and was thinking it may have...
Cheers Macca, I think I know the part your talking about, just behind the radiaor. Do you know if its also known as the diverter valve?
That would be excelent if you could dig the old one out mate.
Cheers.
Cheers enda, yeah I think some people call the diverter valve a dump valve. They have it listed on vagparts as a dump valve. Ill try and find someone whos fitted on if they know where it is. I had a quick look and cant find any vac leaks but Its realy cramped in my engine bay and difficult to...
Thanks Enda, that would be realy handy. Im gonna be looking for a boost leak but realy not sure which hoses to check. Its like a pit of snakes.
Anyways its 2001 first of the B6 and the engine code is AVJ.
Cheers again.
Pete.
Well its still not running as it should. Ive changed coilpaks, plugs, MAF, air filter. Starting to look towards a boost leak or possibly a faulty diverter valve.
Can anyone tell me where the diverter valve is in a B6 A4 1.8T engine and if theres any way to determine if its shot by visual...
Cool, your a star Enda.
Mine seem to be covered in oil although I would presume no oil actualy pass through them.
Dont suppose it shows any pics of the setup does it? Just one of the outlets has a 90 degree hose connector on it but no hose. Just wondering if that would be right.
Thanks...
Ok cheers, nah I dont have a pic of it. I cant even get the part number off it. theres 2 sensors bolted to a plate which is then bolted to the underside of the intake manifold. They do look similar to N75s. Yellow metal housing with a sensor plug and a couple of outlets on each of them.
Ill...
Ive got a B6 A4 1.8T, theres 2 sensors bolted to the bottom of the intake minafold anone know what they are? Just Ive noticed some oil leaaking from one of them. Performance seems abit lacking of late, thinking it may be the N75.
Any ideas?
Cheers.
Ive noticed recently my B6 A4 Quattys been feeling bit rattley lately, just not as smooth as it used to be suspension wise. I had it in for an MOT last week and it passed no problems but the mechainc said that the anti roll-bar busing/bolt was loose and would need replacing. Anyone know if this...
Well the bloke who inspected the car said he would put the claim into Audi. Now I think Audi look at his report and say either yes, no, or they send someone out to do more inspection. It was 9AM, Id been out the night before and wasnt paying as much attention I as I maybee should have...
